PMN can also travel to obtain character reference affidavits. We meet with individuals and professionals to notarize their affidavits at a time and location of their convenience.
We can certify or attest a copy of a record or an item that was copied and determined that the copy is a complete and accurate transcription or reproduction of the record or item.
Government forms are unable to be notarized as the Notary is only permitted to notarize a document that he or she witnesses being signed. The State of Pennsylvania allows commissioned notaries to notarize COPY CERTIFICATIONS. This form attests to the fact that the copy is a true and correct, unaltered, and unchanged document.
You present the original and a copy of your document to the Notary. He or she then signs and notarizes a Copy Certification. The Copy Certification is affixed to the document. The two forms must be presented together.
This form is generally accepted by most organizations, including Embassies, throughout the world. We do, however, suggest that you contact the recipient of the document to make sure they will accept it.
Deeds are critical documents that are recorded by the Recorder of Deeds office. They will not record the Deed(s) if there are any mistakes.
Some things to note:
An example of this is that if your name is John Brown, and you are signing as the Executor of the Estate of Lillian Brown, under Trust Agreement dated June 5, 2015, you may have to sign the Deed as John Brown, Executor of the Estate of Lillian Brown, under Trust Agreement dated June 5, 2015.
Make an appointment with one of our Notaries by calling or texting 860-729-4922 to make sure your Deed is signed correctly before you take it to the Recorder of Deeds Office for filing.
We can meet with you to complete your closing documents. We can also print the package for you!
Simply upload the complete package to us for signing. Please allow us a minimum of 4 hours to schedule. However, we do realize an unexpected event and will do our best to honor a rushed closing.

Beyond just notarizing a document, a notary public often acts as a “signing agent”.
This should not be confused with a closing agent, a banker, or a lawyer. The notary cannot answer questions about or change the terms of the loan. Powers of Attorney take many forms. Powers of Attorney can cover medical, financial, and/or real estate situations. In some instances, a Power of Attorney can be made inclusive of everything.

School records, such as transcripts, diplomas, and degree certificates, are often used abroad. According to the Pennsylvania Department of State, only a school's official signature can provide the notarial act. Some schools and/or universities have a notary on staff and provide the document(s) already notarized.
If not, this means that a notary public must meet with the school official in person. Self-attested school records (where you, not the school official) authenticate the veracity of the document of the school record often need to be apostilled or legalized for use abroad.
The client must make the appointment and must be with you when you meet with the school official.
